The Brockport Kiwanis Club was formed on June 30, 1926 at “Hotel Brockport”. George Hixson, the very first Kiwanis International President, member, and first president of the Rochester Club, acted as chairman of the first meeting of the Brockport Club. We are honored to have such a distinguished person from the Rochester and Kiwanis communities come to Brockport to establish our Club.
We are very proud of our traditions and of our service to the community for over 89 years. Our club is one of 19 in the Genesee Division of the New York Division Kiwanis.
We have 20 current members in our club. Membership is always open to adults in the community who are interested in contributing some of their time and energy toward community service while enjoying great fellowship along the way.
We do not currently have Builders Clubs or a Kiwanis Kids Club, are you ready to help start one of them?
Members of every age attend regular meetings, experience fellowship, raise funds for various causes and participate in service projects that help their communities. Members also make an impact throughout the world by participating in Kiwanis International’s Global Campaign for Children, The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus.
